Ida Scott is a certified Life Coach, offering her services by video chat and phone Domestically and Internationally to clients. With many years of work and life experiences, her mission is simple: helping clients set and achieve their goals through conversation, listening, questioning and sharing in a safe and confidential environment . Having lost an adult son, Ida became a go-to-person in a Support Group, since she read 72 books about losing a child and about death and dying. As a life coach, Ida offers “grief coaching and picking up the pieces and moving on” services.

Ida is a go-to person for non-profit organizations. She has over 20 years of experience helping non-profit organizations and businesses achieve success, and has led economic development initiatives for businesses and communities for over 30 years. Ida has also been the President of the Business Retention and Expansion International Board and has chaired the board of Women’s Economic Equality and the board of Women Unlimited in Nova Scotia for 12 years. 

Ida has become very successful in writing funding proposals and has secured over $11 million through those proposals, becoming a leading source for developing board governance and policy manuals for non-profit organizations.
